Home Restorations Roofing Proposal

We hereby submit specifications and estimates to install a new roof on home:

• Remove all existing shingles on home (two layers) and haul away all debris (everything!).
• Remove nails from yard with a special roofing magnet and haul away.
• Inspect subroof; if plywood is damaged, it will be replaced with 1/2" CDX
  @$2.25 per sq. ft.
• Install Home Restorations Custom Drip Edge at all eave edges by gutter
  (approx 160 linear feet).
• Install white aluminum drip edge on all rake edges of home.
• Install Certainteed WinterGuard "Ice and Water Shield" (36") at all eave edges, in valleys and around any flashing penetrations.
• Install Berger UDL Titanium Underlayment (or Certainteed Shinglemate) before reroofing.
• Reflash Chimney with step flashing and custom formed counter flashing; then seal with Geocel Tripolymer Sealant.
• Install new step flashing against walls, and apron flashings next to walls.
• Remove old mortar on top of chimney and install new mortar crown.
• Install new neoprene/aluminum pipe collars in place of existing pipe collars.
• Install all new aluminum fan vent in place of existing units.
• Upgrade ridge vent to "shingle over" type Shingle Vent II by Air-Vent, Inc.
  (Certainteed, Approx 60 linear feet).
• Certainteed Landmark 30 year shingles will be used to cover entire roof of home; color: Homestead Slate.
• Only approved nails will be used -- No Staples!
• Install two (2) self flashing Skylights by WASCO; "E" glass is included.
• If any fascia board needs replacing, it will be done at $5.25 per linear foot
  (1" x 6", primed and painted).
• Certainteed Warrants Shingles for thirty (30) years.
• Home Restorations Warrants Installation against leaks for ten (10) years.
• Work will be done the week of __________________ and will be completed in
  One (1) Day, weather permitting.

Great care will be taken not to damage plants and shrubs. Clean gutters and respike where necessary after reroofing. All roof related debris will be removed from job site and hauled away. A "drag magnet" will be used to pick up stray nails after installation. Permit price is included in job price. Home Restorations is licensed, bonded, and insured - MD Home Improv. License # 74066.

We Propose to furnish material and labor to complete the work in accordance with above specifications for the sum of:

All material is to be installed as specified. All work to be completed in a workmanlike manner according to standard practices. Any alteration or deviation from above specifications involving extra cost will be executed only upon written orders and will become an extgra charge over and above the estimate. All agreements contingent upon strikes, accidents, or delays beyond our control. Owner to carry fire, tornado and other necessary insurance. Our workers are covered by Workman's Compensation Insurance. We are covered by Public Liability Insurance.

Acceptance of Proposal - The above prices, specifications, and conditions are satisfactory and are hereby accepted. You are authorized to do the work. Payment will be made by me as outlined above. This proposal good for 15 days. We accept credit/debit card payments through PayPal and Checks.
